Blackpeak adds Nicholas Blank in Hong Kong
Risk advisory firm Blackpeak Group, which focuses on corporate, private equity and hedge fund clients, has appointed Nicholas Blank as a director based in Hong Kong.
Blank was previously the head of the Guangzhou, Shanghai and Seoul offices of Kroll Associates, and specializes in advising on complex fraud and intellectual property investigations. His work experience includes managing teams of investigators on risk advisory engagements, and conducting on-the-ground interviews and research in multiple jurisdictions.
Blank will work alongside Blackpeak founding partner, Jack Clode to grow the firm's Greater China business and lead direct investigation assignments across the region.
Blackpeak was officially launched last September by Chris Leahy, Kroll's former head of Asia, and Nicholas Bryan-Brown, former head of investment banking for Asia Pacific at HSBC.
The firm simultaneously launched offices in Hong Kong, Singapore and Tokyo to advise clients on investment sourcing, risk mitigation and transaction execution on deals across Asia. These clients include global and regional private equity, hedge, alternative asset, family office and sovereign wealth funds, as well as multinational and regional corporates.
