
General Atlantic's Nash promoted in Singapore
General Atlantic (GA) has promoted Nick Nash, who co-launched the firm's Singapore office, to principal.
Nash first joined GA in 2002 and then rejoined the firm after completing his MBA in 2007. He has played a leadership role in GA's business services sector investment efforts and, in 2011, he moved to Singapore to help launch GA's Southeast Asia operations.
Eduardo Samera, who is based in Sao Paulo and focused on investment opportunities in Latin America and Graves Tompkins, who is responsible for GA's global capital raising and the firm's government relations, have also been promoted to principal.
GA's team of 80 investment professionals work across 10 offices based in the US, Europe, Asia and Latin America. GA has $17 billion in capital under management, comprised of total committed capital and portfolio investments, and invests $1.5-2 billion per year in growth companies.
