StepStone adds three partners in Asia
Randy Wang, a private equity specialist who works out of Beijing, is one of three Asia-based investment professionals that StepStone Group has promoted to partner.
Prior to joining the firm in 2016, Wang worked for CloudAlpha Capital, a technology, media, and telecom-focused equities fund, and for Morgan Stanley in investment banking. At StepStone, he covers private equity and venture capital managers and co-investments across Asia Pacific.
The other two partner promotions in Asia – out of nine globally – were Mark Stulic and Adam Reisler. Both are Sydney-based members of the infrastructure and real assets team.
StepStone also made one managing director promotion in the region, elevating Yuki Asari, a business development professional located in Tokyo, according to a statement.
StepStone brings exposure to private equity, infrastructure, private debt, and real estate to a range of institutional investors, as well as family office and private wealth clients. As of September, it was responsible for USD 602bn in capital, including USD 135bn in assets under management.
Private equity assets – under management and under advisory – amounted to USD 312bn. The group makes commitments to funds, participates in secondary and co-investment transactions, and makes direct investments.
