Squadron Capital boosts investor relations team
Hong Kong-based fund of funds Squadron Capital has bolstered its investor relations team with appointments that include Chau Ly as Director of Investor Relations & Business Development.
Ly will be based in Hong Kong and joins Squadron joins from global f-o-f Siguler Guff & Company in New York. She will report to Squadron's CEO David Pierce.
The firm further promoted Pratima Divgi and Anand Ramachandran Prasanna to the position of Investment Director. According to the firm, both have been with Squadron since 2008.
Squadron manages capital for institutional investors, family offices and HNIs from Asia, Europe, the Middle East and North America. In Asia, Squadron is currently investing from its $400 million Asia Pacific Fund II raised in May 2008, which largely focuses on Indian and Chinese targets. That vehicle came close on the heels of its Asia Pacific Fund I, which closed in February of that year with $425 million, far above its $300 million target, according to AVCJ reports at the time. Hony Capital and Archer Capital were among its investees.
