Ex-Unigestion Asia head joins Campbell Lutyens
Eric Marchand, who left his role as Unigestion’s head of Asia Pacific private equity earlier this year, has joined Campbell Lutyens as a senior advisor.
Marchand (pictured) is responsible for developing GP relationships across the region with a view to driving primary and secondary deal flow for the placement agent, AVCJ understands. He continues to be based in Singapore.
Having joined Unigestion in 2012, Marchand initially worked out of Geneva, making primary fund, secondary and direct investments. He started covering Asia in 2014 and moved to Singapore in 2015 for a two-year stint. He relocated to the country once again in 2019.
Before Unigestion, Marchand spent nearly two years with CDC Group as an investment manager primarily covering the development finance institution’s India and Southeast Asia private equity interests. He began his career with GE Capital.
Campbell Lutyens was founded in 1998 and has seven offices globally. The firm established a Hong Kong base in 2010 and expanded into Singapore two years ago. In addition to its capital raising and secondary advisory practices, the firm also helps managers with GP-led liquidity and fund restructuring transactions.
