ADIA Dong-Sinh Ngo is appointed chief representative for Asia Pacific, to be based in the sovereign wealth fund's new Hong Kong office
CANADA PENSION PLAN INVESTMENT BOARD Mark Machin, head of international and Asia president, is promoted to global president and CEO. Suyi Kim takes over as head of Asia and her previous position - head of Asia private equity - is filled by Deborah Orida, who previously led the group's relationship investments business
GIC PRIVATE Chow-Kiat Lim is appointed CEO, replacing Siong-Guan Lim. Jeffrey Jaensubhakij succeeds Lim as CIO, relinquishing his position as deputy CIO and president for public markets. Lim-Hock Tay becomes deputy CIO and president for Europe, and in doing so, swaps his position as president for private equity and infrastructure for an advisory role. Yong-Cheen Choo is named CIO for private equity, alongside similar appointments across infrastructure, real estate, fixed income and public equities
HAMILTON LANE Tomoko Kitao, the head of operations in Japan, and Hong Kong-based Mingchen Xia and Josh Jacob are promoted to managing director
JAPAN POST Hideya Sadanaga, previously of Nissay Asset Management and Nippon Life Insurance, becomes head of private equity at Japan Post Bank, under Tokihiko Shimizu, head of private markets. Tadasu Matsuo, general manager for alternative investment at Daido Life, moves to Japan Post Insurance to oversee alternatives coverage
KOREA INVESTMENT CORPORATION Sung-Soo Eun, previously an executive director at the World Bank, is named CEO and board chairman. Shin-Woo Kang, most recently CEO of Hanwa Asset Management, becomes CIO
MLC Alicia Gregory becomes head of private equity, having spent the previous three years as head of European private equity. She replaces Natalie Meyenn
NATIONAL PENSION SERVICE Myun-Wook Kang, formerly CEO of Meritz Asset Management, is named CIO, replacing Wan-Sun Hong. It follows the appointment of Hyung-Pyo Moon as chairman. NPS subsequently restructures its alternative investment divisions from domestic and global to private equity, real estate and infrastructure, with no geographic delineation
NEW ZEALAND VENTURE INVESTMENT FUND Richard Dellabarca is named CEO in place of Franceska Banga, who led the government-sponsored fund-of-funds since its inception
NOAH HOLDINGS Piau-Voon Wang, formerly a partner and head of Asian investments at Adams Street Partners, becomes co-CIO, tasked with leading international investments. He is also appointed partner at Gopher Asset Management, Noah's asset management arm
NORTH-EAST FAMILY OFFICE Sam Robinson, previously head of regional private equity fund investment at Aberdeen Asset Management, joins as managing partner for Asia
ONTARIO TEACHERS' PENSION PLAN Nicole Musicco, the head of Asia Pacific, returns to Toronto to lead the pension plan's public equities unit. She is succeeded - on an interim basis only - by Jo Taylor, who is promoted to senior international managing director
SUN HUNG KAI Sebastiaan van den Berg, previously a managing director at HarbourVest Partners, becomes CIO and head of principal investments
TEMASEK HOLDINGS Song Hwee Chia and Dilhan Pillay, who co-lead the portfolio management group and the investment group, become presidents alongside Gregory Curl and Theng Kiat Lee. This comes as Temasek combines its sector and market investment teams under a single investment group
UNIGESTION Edouard Merette, formerly a managing director at Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec (CDPQ), becomes non-executive chairman of the Asia board
