Greenpark promotes Daniel Green to CIO
Greenpark Capital has promoted Daniel Green to CIO. He joined the firm in 2001 and was previously an investment director, serving on the secondary specialist’s executive team and investment committee.
As CIO, Green will lead the investment team and participate in the sourcing, evaluation and execution of transactions.
Green's elevation comes a matter of months after Greenpark opened its Hong Kong office, which is overseen by Chin Chin Teoh, formerly managing director and co-head of the Asia private equity group at Bank of America Merrill Lynch.
Greenpark has also set up a $500 million emerging markets secondaries fund with International Finance Corporation (IFC). The idea is that Greenpark will have access and information on IFC's 180 portfolio GPs, potentially creating opportunities to pick up secondary interests.
Teoh told AVCJ last month that Greenpark expects to see in excess of $3 billion in emerging markets secondaries this year - most of it from mid-cap, late-stage positions.
