White & Case hires Olier in Singapore
Former PE- and M&A-focused solicitor at Clifford Chance Jonathan Olier has joined law firm White & Case LLP in its Global Mergers & Acquisitions Practice as Counsel in Singapore.
Olier spent 11 years at Clifford Chance, where he additionally focused on transactions involving sovereign wealth, restructurings and joint venture elements. He relocates to Singapore from Abu Dhabi; and has additionally practiced in London, Paris and Dubai.
According to the firm, Olier's hire comes during a time of expansion in Singapore as White & Case has bolstered its team in the bureau by five lawyers since January. These hires include intellectual property lawyer David Llewelyn, international arbitration partner Aloke Ray and local partner Nandakumar Ponniya.
