AVCJ Asia Awards 2012: Voting opens Monday
Voting opens on Monday for the 2012 AVCJ Asian Private Equity & Venture Capital Awards. The AVCJ Editorial Board, in consultation with a judging panel of industry experts, has put together shortlists of nominees. We now invite Asia's private equity community to select the winners.
There are a number of interesting match-ups: Archer Capital, Bain Capital, ChrysCapital, Hony Capital and PAG are all in the running for Fundraising of the Year; Akindo Sushiro (Unison Capital), Infastech (CVC Capital Partners) and King's Safetywear (Navis Capital Partners) head up a strong group of candidates for Private Equity Exit of the Year.
The other categories are Firm of the Year, Private Equity Professional of the Year, Venture Capital Professional of the Year, Private Equity Deal of the Year and Venture Capital Deal of the Year.
The judges include executives from Allianz Capital Partners, Asia Alternatives, Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPPIB), Capital Dynamics, Hamilton Lane, HarbourVest Partners, LGT Capital Partners, Pantheon and Squadron Capital.
The judges have a 25% say in the final result, with the AVCJ Editorial Board accounting for another 25%. This leaves 50% for the public vote.
The winners will be announced at an invitation-only gala dinner in Hong Kong on November 13, preceding the AVCJ Forum (www.avcjforum.com), which runs from November 14 to November 16.
