Altius appoints new Asia Pacific head
Altius Associates, a private equity advisory and fund-of-funds firm, has appointed Peter Pfister as a partner and head of Asia Pacific.
Pfister, who will be based in Singapore, joins Altius from Deutsche Bank, where he was head of its Asia Pacific private equity business for seven years. Pfister will report to Brad Young, head of Investments at Altius.
"His experience in the Asian private equity sector, and his knowledge of buyout, venture and growth capital in the region made him an ideal candidate for this important role," said Young, in a statement.
Altius manages approximately $24 billion in private equity and real assets funds for clients based across Europe, North America and Australia. It has offices in London, Richmond, Virginia and Singapore.
