
Everstone names ex-Goldman executive as CEO
India and Southeast Asia-focused GP Everstone has hired L. Brooks Entwistle,formerly of Goldman Sachs, as a partner and group CEO.
Brooks spent 22 years with Goldman Sachs working in various capacities, including 15 years based in Asia.
Most recently, he was chairman of Goldman Sachs Southeast Asia and CEO of Goldman Sachs Singapore. Prior to that, he spent five years in Mumbai as CEO and founder of the firm's India operation, taking responsibility for all divisions. He also served as co-head of the investment bank’s Asia’s high technology group.
Brooks will be based in Singapore and oversee the day-to-day management of Everstone as well as lead cross-border transactions and large deal origination. He will join the firm’s partnership committee, working alongside Dhanpal Jhaveri, Jaspal Singh Sabharwal, P.M. Devaiah and Rajesh Jaggi.

Co-founded by Sain and Atul Kapur, Everstone is headquartered in Singapore and has 130 employees across five offices in Singapore, Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru and Mauritius. It has approximately $2 billion in assets under management.
