
ICG adds Nyree Hu to Asia team
Specialist asset manager Intermediate Capital Group (ICG) has hired Nyree Hu as Asia director with its 11-strong global distribution team.
Hu joins ICG from CQS where she was director of marketing for Asia. Prior to that Hu held a number of senior sales positions at UBS Wealth Management and Ecofin, the utilities specialist investment management firm. Hu began her career with the private equity practice at A.T. Kearney, where she advised on operational and financial due diligence for buy-out transactions.
"A third of investors in ICG's latest mezzanine fund are from Asia, underlining the importance of our growing investor base across the region, said Christophe Evain, CEO of ICG. "Nyree brings a wealth of strong relationships and a deep understanding of the issues and considerations which are important to the region."
Hu will report to Andreas Mondovits, head of ICG's nmarketing and client relations team based in London.
