Kump leaves DIC for Carlyle
Eric Kump, former MD and head of the European buyout team at Dubai International Capital (DIC), has now joined the Carlyle Group as an MD with its Carlyle Europe Partners European LBO team.
Kump will be based in London in his new role. Before joining DIC in autumn 2008, Kump was an MD with Merrill Lynch Global Private Equity, also focusing on European buyouts.
