MVision CEO to move from London to Hong Kong
Mounir Guen, founder and CEO of placement agent MVision is relocating from London to Hong Kong in order to lead the firm’s expansion in Asia.
MVision will continue to be centrally managed from its London headquarters while looking to strengthen an international office network that currently includes bases in New York, Hong Kong and Sydney.
Guen said the decision was driven by Asian managers raising larger funds, the emergence of local institutional players as significant private markets investors, and increased demand from international LPs to gain better access to opportunities within the region.
"Asia is currently the world's most dynamic economic region and there are few limitations on opportunities for private equity," he added. "My move to Hong Kong is a key part of the firm's continuing global expansion and our presence here will not only enhance our existing relationships in the region but allow us to take advantage of new opportunities as well."
