
Campbell Lutyens appoints former AIG Investments Asia CEO Cesar Zalamea to board
Global advisory firm Campbell Lutyens has appointed two new members to its advisory board, including Cesar Zalamea, former President and CEO of AIG Investment Asia.
According to the firm, Zalamea is "one of the most experienced investors in the private equity sector in Asia," also garnered from his experiences at Starr Investment Advisors, president of the Philippine American Life Insurance Company, and as a member of AIA and Nan Shan's boards. He has separately served as the deputy director general of the Filipino president's economic staff, and chairman and CEO of the Development Bank of the Philippines.
Zalamea is charged with advising Campbell Lutyens on its business development initiatives in Asia Pacific.
Joining him as a board director is the former prime minister of Hungary, Gordon Bajnai. In addition to his political career, Bajnai was the CEO of Hungary's Wallis Group, and was CEO of Hungarian investment bank CA IB Securities.
Campbell Lutyens' news comes months after the firm opened an office in Hong Kong, headed by Partner and Head of Asia Pacific Conrad Yan. Campbell Lutyens additionally has offices in London and New York, and claims approximately 60 staff worldwide.
