
Hong Kong's hedge fund manager makes promotion
Hong Kong-based hedge fund SAIL Advisors announced that it has promoted three of its senior team to its Management Committee in 2011 so far.
Gunther Jost, SAIL’s Head of Sales & Marketing, Allen Sing, a Portfolio Manager, and Joanne Choy, CFO have each elevated their positions to become Management Committee Members in the firm, each charged with overseeing SAIL’s service growth in Asia, Europe and the Americas.
Launched in 2003, the firm has managed global and Asian funds of hedge funds for institutional investors including global pension funds and insurance companies. In January 2010 it acquired ING’s fund of hedge funds business and inherited the investment management duties of four fund of hedge funds.
