Aditya Birla makes hires
Aditya Birla Financial Services Group (ABFSG) has strengthen its private equity team by inviting Amitvikram Sharma, ex-partner of Milestone Religare, as an additional investment director in addition to P. H. Ravikumar and Shailesh Haribhakti who were appointed as an independent director to its Board of Directors and as a member of the Advisory Board of the Fund I of Aditya Birla Private Equity separately.
Ravikumar was a founding managing Director of National Commodities and Derivatives Exchange and had previously worked with Bank of India and ICICI, while Haribhakti is Executive Chairman/ Managing Partner of BDO and a member of the Standard Advisory Council of International Accounting Standards Board. Bharat Banka, Chief Executive Officer, Aditya Birla Private Equity, said that the fresh expertise we have on board with addition of eminent professionals will contribute immensely to our growth objectives and the highest governance standards, especially when we are ready to capitalize on strategic opportunities offered by a changing India.
