StepStone adds partner in Beijing
StepStone Group, a provider of private markets advisory and asset management services to institutional investors, has promoted Beijing-based Vincent Hsu to partner.
Hsu joined the firm in 2012 and is part of the team that covers primary fund commitments, secondaries, and co-investments across Asia. He previously spent about two years with Bertelsmann Asia Investments, focusing on direct investments in early and growth stage companies in China.
His promotion was one of 11 globally as StepStone named five new partners and six managing directors. The firm now has two partners based in Beijing, not including co-founder and CEO Monte Brem, and six in Asia as a whole.
StepStone has more than $265 billion of total capital allocations across private equity, real estate, infrastructure and private debt, including over $51 billion in assets under management. It primarily advises institutional investors on asset allocation as well as offering a range of co-mingled funds and separately managed accounts.
The firm's Asia-based offices are in Beijing, Hong Kong, Seoul, Sydney and Tokyo.
