Shearman & Sterling elects new partner in Hong Kong
Global law firm Shearman & Sterling has promoted Sidharth Bhasin to partner in its Hong Kong office. He was formerly counsel.
Bhasin advises clients throughout Asia on private equity investments and exits, M&A, restructurings and workouts. He also helps lead the firm's India practice.
Bhasin is one of five new partners to be elected by Shearman across its global platform. The four other new partners will be based in Abu Dhabi, New York and Washington D.C. in the financial regulatory, international arbitration and litigation practice areas.

"They have consistently demonstrated their commitment to our client-first approach and also offer deep technical knowledge and experience. We know they will be outstanding additions to our partnership and to our continued success for many years to come."
