Australia’s QIC to use Burgiss Group PE software platform
QIC, one of the largest institutional investors in Australia, has deployed a private equity software platform designed by The Burgiss Group, a New Jersey-based software solutions provider.
QIC's Global Private Equity boutique (QIC GPE), which has more than $3 billion in funds under management, will use a combination of Burgiss' software - Private i, Private informant, and Private iQ - to monitor and manage its portfolios, in a move to serve a broader range of clients.
"When we commenced investing on behalf of our clients in 2005, we knew that we required a platform that offered both software and data for our investments," said Marcus Simpson, head of global private equity at QIC. "The Private i platform helps us deliver fund, portfolio company and investor reporting quickly and efficiently."
Burgiss works with LPs, advisors and fund-of-funds, providing solutions to manage private capital through various stages of the investment lifecycle.
