Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. has made an INR650 crore ($140 million) commitment to India's Sajjan Jindal group, cited as India's richest private steel producer, in a structured sponsored finance package mixing debt, equity and cash, to support the group's $1.5 billion plans to expand its steel operation, according to Indian reports.
