SJ Berwin appoints Hong Kong head
SJ Berwin has appointed George Pinkham as head of its Hong Kong office. Effective October 1, Pinkham will lead the law firm’s expansion plans across Asia Pacific, building on its existing practices in Hong Kong and Shanghai.
SJ Berwin's Hong Kong office opened in 2009 and focuses on private equity, corporate, litigation and dispute resolutions. Pinkham will be joined in Hong Kong by London senior associate Guo Sun Lee, who has spent the last five years working extensively with a number of private equity clients internationally.
Pinkham founded the Paris office of SJ Berwin in 2001 and was a member of the firm's strategy committee for ten years. As managing partner based in Paris, he spearheaded the office's expansion into private equity.
He will remain co-head of the international funds department alongside Jonathan Blake.
