
Vector, with CITIC Capital, acquires US-based graphic manufacturing group
Tech-focused PE firm Vector Capital has acquired a majority stake in Gerber Scientific, an international supplier of automated manufacturing systems used in signs, specialty graphics, apparel and the industrial sector. Chinese firm CITIC Capital Partners has also taken a minority stake in the company, with has collectively sold to the private equity firms for $283 million.
Upon the completed acquisition, Gerber Scientific will be delisted from the New York Stock Exchange. The company's shareholders have already agreed on the sale, and will receive $11 per share in cash....
