SingTel Innov8 participates in Sentilla's $15m Series C round
SingTel Innov8 Ventures, the venture arm of the SingTel Group, has participated in a $15 million Series C round of financing launched by California-based Sentilla Corporation, a leading provider of IT infrastructure software. Other participants include Sentilla’s existing backers, ONSET Ventures and Claremont Creek Ventures.
Sentilla plans to use new capital to develop its sales and marketing functions.
The company is targeting IT executives that are developing strategies for upcoming quarters and increasingly being asked to support new business initiatives with diminishing budgets. Sentilla claims its services allow these executives to make strategic decisions that minimize capital investment and operating expenditure, while increasing business value.
Yvonne Kwek, CEO of SingTel Innov8, said in a statement, “Sentilla’s technology of maximizing business value from IT organizations addresses a critical need – not just for the telecommunications industry, but also in other enterprises that are looking to leverage IT to drive greater revenue and profitability.”
Corporate venture capital fund SingTel Innov8 has an initial fund size of S$200 million ($165 million). It focuses on investments in next generation devices, digital content services and enablers to enhance customer experience.
