Intel Capital leads funding round in Skyrockit
Intel Capital, with Tokyo-based Asuka DBJ Partners and an individual investor, has led a $2.6 million round of financing in mobile entertainment firm Skyrockit, to be used for the company’s product, services and personnel expansion.

Among the company's marquee products is Rompler, a patent-pending music remix platform. Skyrockit's customer base includes media companies, brands and consumers including Kraft Foods, GAP and Microsoft. It distributes content to the four major US mobile carriers: AT&T Mobility, Sprint, T-Mobile, and Verizon Wireless.
