Australia’s RecruitLoop secures seed funding
Australian recruitment marketplace RecruitLoop (RL) has raised $500,000 from Russian firm The Untitled VC, Microsoft executive Todd Forest and a Middle East-based recruiter to fund its expansion in the US.
RL offers a platform for employers to engage an independent recruiter on a fee-based model. This includes zero-commission, charging for services by the hour and video-screening of candidates.
The start-up was founded in 2011 and counts eBay and DesignCrowd among its clients. It has a network of over 75 freelance recruiters across Australia, New Zealand, Dubai and the US.
The funding will be used for expansion and boosting its American presence, while the Sydney office works to drive growth through Asia. It is in competition with other hiring marketplaces - Recruiter Exchange and KubeKonnect.
