
WSGR hires PE-focused partner in Shanghai
Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati (WSGR), the US-based law firm specializing in technology and life sciences, has hired Zhan Chen as a partner in Shanghai. Her practice focuses on private equity, privatizations and M&A.
Chen, who will divide her time between WSGR's Shanghai and Hong Kong offices, joins from Davis Polk, where she spent 10 years in New York and Hong Kong. She has extensive experience with private equity investments, M&A, private company acquisitions, going-private transactions, PIPE deals and foreign direct investment in China.
Past clients have included private equity firms and sovereign wealth funds, as well as corporates from the internet, healthcare, semiconductor, financial services, energy, and cleantech sectors.
