
Recruiter Harvey Nash expands into Asia Pacific
Harvey Nash, a global recruitment consultancy and IT outsourcing service provider, has opened an office in Hong Kong as part of efforts to boost its presence in the Asia Pacific region.
Nick Marsh, executive search managing director, will lead the team and work with Harvey Nash's existing networks, as well as private equity organizations, global Fortune 500 companies and some small- to medium-sized enterprises in Asia.
Searches are already being commissioned in India, China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Australia, Japan, Korea, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia and the Philippines.
"Demand from our European and US clients for executive search capability in the region has been increasing and many clients are growing their Asian businesses to capitalize on higher growth emerging markets," Marsh said in a statement.
Harvey Nash currently has 39 offices covering the US, Europe and Asia. In Asia it conducts search and leadership assignments at director, vice president, general manager, managing director level, with typical salary levels of HK$1.5-3.5 million ($193,000-450,000) or equivalent.
