Raffles Family Office appoints digital assets CIO
Raffles Family Office, a Hong Kong-based multi-family office, has named Zann Kwan as CIO and managing partner of its digital assets unit.
The unit, known as Revo and launched in October, is said to be the first multi-family office for digital assets.
The launch of Revo underscores growing interest from ultra high net worth individuals (UHNWIs) in this space. A recent survey by Raffles Family Office and Campden Wealth found that the average crypto allocation among Asia Pacific family offices was 1%. Of those active in the space, 59% were happy to continue holding their investments and 25% were looking to increase exposure.
Kwan is a co-founder of Bitcoin Exchange, which launched Asia's first public bitcoin machine in 2013, and founder of Deodi, a virtual asset service provider intended to improve investor access to cryptocurrencies. She is also a member of Raffles Family Office's independent advisory board.
The multi-family office claims to provide a full suite of investment management services for UHNWIs, who are typically defined as people with a net worth in excess of USD 50m. It is headquartered in Hong Kong and has offices in Singapore, Shanghai, and Taipei.
