
US, India-based MindTickle raises $27m Series B
US and India-based training and networking platform operator MindTickle has raised $27 million in Series B funding led by Canaan Partners.
Existing investors Accel Partners, New Enterprise Associates (NEA) and Qualcomm Ventures, also participated. It brings the company’s total capital raised to date to $41.3 million.
Founded in 2012, MindTickle focuses on training sales representatives for corporate clients through a variety of methods including on-demand online education, mobile updates and games. It also claims to offer “coaching and role-play with a data-driven approach.” Clients include Phillips, Symantec, Micro Focus and Ola.
“MindTickle’s comprehensive readiness platform enables companies to be at the forefront of sales excellence through its unique combination of gamification, automation, and a strong analytics framework for correlating learning and performance,” Krishna Depura (pictured), co-founder and CEO of MindTickle, said in a statement. "This additional funding will allow us to accelerate the vision we share with our customers for data-driven sales enablement.”
Accel, NEA and Qualcomm invested a $12.5 million Series A round for the company in 2015. This was preceded by a $1.8 million seed round from Accel and Moneta Ventures in 2014.
