
Hong Kong’s Quantifeed gets $4.5m Series A round
China’s PGA Venture Partners has led a $4.5 million Series A round of funding for Hong Kong-based financial services software provider Quantifeed.
According to a statement, the capital will be used to accelerate expansion in Asia Pacific, including China. The company currently operates across bases in Hong Kong and Australia, while its wealth management platform is in use in Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong and China.
"We believe Quantifeed's digital investment solution is one of the most comprehensive in the industry, combining a robust financial technology platform, global investment themes, and a pipeline of innovative investment tools and applications," said Peilung Li, founder of PGA. "Quantifeed is well positioned to capture the next wave of private wealth's growth in Asia and is ready to execute its strategy in China."
Quantifeed offers an automated platform that allows banks, brokers and wealth planners to provide their customers digital investment services under their own brands. It enables users to invest in portfolios of stocks, funds and other asset classes across all major global markets. The company also offers a library of portfolios for asset allocation, thematic investments and other trading strategies.
Based in Shanghai, PGA makes early and growth-stage investments, targeting companies globally with an aim to facilitate entries into the Chinese market.
