CBC provides Series C round for China’s Miaozhen
China Broadband Capital (CBC) has led a Series C round of funding worth $10 million for Chinese big data specialist Miaozhen Systems.
Investors also include Redpoint Ventures, KPCB and WPP Digital, the statement notes.
Founded in 2006 and now with more than 280 employees across four locations, Miaozhen provides cloud-based third-party advertising technology. It can process more than 100 billion ad requests per day, helping clients measure online campaign impact. It has worked with the likes of P&G, Microsoft, Coca-Cola, Volkswagen, L'Oreal, and KFC.
"Big data is reshaping the business community, as well as transforming the overall ecosystem of the new media advertising industry," says Tian Suning, chairman of CBC.
Based in Beijing, CBC has recently contributed to a Series C round funding for US-based start-up Pluribus Networks, which wants to bring network virtualization equipment technologies to the China market.
